NEMA 8 (20mm) linear stepper motors are available in three configurations: captive, non-captive and external linear.

They are characterized by small size, high performance, long-lasting resistance, low noise and high efficiency. The nut is made of engineering plastic, self-lubricating and maintenance free.

Widely used in medical equipment, semiconductor processing, valve control, X-Y table, hand-held instruments or anywhere precise linear motion is required.

Multiple motor lengths, multiple screw guides, and multiple screw strokes are available for customer selection.

Standard motors are Class B rated for maximum temperature of 130℃. Unipolar drive gives approximately 30% less thrust than bipolar drive.
